पढ़ाई का खर्च इतना बढ़ गया है कि कई होनहार बच्चे सिर्फ इसलिए अपनी पढ़ाई बीच में छोड़ देते हैं क्योंकि घर में पैसे नहीं होते। College की fees, hostel का खर्च, किताबें, laptop — यह सब मिलाकर एक बड़ा बोझ बन जाता है। लेकिन सरकार ने ऐसे students के लिए कई schemes बनाई हैं जो सिर्फ scholarship नहीं देतीं बल्कि loan, free coaching, और हर तरह की financial help देती हैं। अगर आप student हैं या आपके घर में कोई बच्चा पढ़ रहा है तो यह 7 schemes जरूर जाननी चाहिए।
1. National Scholarship Portal — एक जगह, दर्जनों Scholarships
scholarships.gov.in पर केंद्र और राज्य सरकारों की दर्जनों scholarships एक ही platform पर मिलती हैं। Pre-matric यानी class 1 से 10 तक, post-matric यानी class 11 से graduation तक, और उच्च शिक्षा के लिए अलग-अलग scholarships available हैं। SC/ST/OBC/Minority और General category सभी के लिए schemes हैं। Central Sector Scholarship में 12वीं के top 20 percentile students को 12,000 रुपये सालाना मिलते हैं बशर्ते family income 8 लाख से कम हो। एक registration से कई scholarships के लिए apply किया जा सकता है और पैसे DBT के जरिए सीधे bank account में आते हैं।
2. PM Vidya Lakshmi Scheme — Education Loan बिना Guarantee के
जो students higher education के लिए loan लेना चाहते हैं उनके लिए PM Vidya Lakshmi Portal एक बेहतरीन option है। vidyalakshmi.co.in पर एक ही जगह से 38 से ज्यादा banks की education loan schemes देखी और apply की जा सकती हैं। 4 लाख रुपये तक के loan के लिए कोई collateral नहीं चाहिए और 7.5 लाख तक के loan पर किसी third-party guarantee की जरूरत नहीं पड़ती। Interest subsidy scheme के तहत economically weaker section के students को moratorium period यानी course duration plus एक साल तक पूरे ब्याज की subsidy मिलती है जो बाद में loan account में adjust हो जाती है।
3. Pragati और Saksham Scholarship — Technical Education के लिए
AICTE यानी All India Council for Technical Education की यह scholarship उन students के लिए है जो engineering, MBA, pharmacy या अन्य technical courses कर रहे हैं। Pragati scholarship girls के लिए है जिसमें 50,000 रुपये सालाना मिलते हैं — यह tuition fee या 30,000 रुपये में से जो कम हो वो fee के रूप में और बाकी incidental charges के रूप में। Saksham scholarship differently-abled students के लिए है और इसमें भी 50,000 रुपये सालाना की financial help मिलती है। दोनों के लिए NSP portal पर apply करना होता है और family income 8 लाख से कम होनी चाहिए।
4. PM YASASVI Scheme — OBC/EBC/DNT Students के लिए
PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India यानी PM YASASVI Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment की एक scholarship है जो OBC, EBC यानी Economically Backward Classes और DNT यानी De-notified Tribes के students के लिए है। Class 9 और 10 के students को 75,000 रुपये सालाना और class 11 और 12 के students को 1,25,000 रुपये सालाना मिलते हैं। इसके लिए NTA एक entrance test conduct करती है जिसे YASASVI Entrance Test यानी YET कहते हैं। Family income 2.5 लाख रुपये सालाना से कम होनी चाहिए।
5. Ishan Uday Scholarship — North East के Students के लिए
पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों यानी Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh और Sikkim के students के लिए UGC ने Ishan Uday Special Scholarship शुरू की है। इस scholarship में general degree courses के students को 5,400 रुपये प्रति माह और technical या professional courses के students को 7,800 रुपये प्रति माह मिलते हैं। यह scholarship graduation level तक मिलती है और इसके लिए 12वीं में कम से कम 60% marks होने चाहिए। Family income 4.5 लाख रुपये सालाना से कम होनी चाहिए और apply NSP portal पर होता है।
6. National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship — Class 8 के बाद
यह scholarship उन meritorious students के लिए है जो economically weak हैं और जिनके class 8 के बाद school छोड़ने का खतरा है। हर साल 1 लाख नई scholarships दी जाती हैं जिसमें class 9 से 12 तक हर साल 12,000 रुपये यानी 1000 रुपये प्रति माह मिलते हैं। इसके लिए राज्य सरकार एक selection test conduct करती है जो State Level Scholarship Test यानी SLST कहलाता है। Class 7 में कम से कम 55% marks होने चाहिए और family income 3.5 लाख रुपये सालाना से कम होनी चाहिए। यह scholarship सरकारी और government-aided schools के students के लिए है।
7. Skill India — Free Vocational Training और Certificate
जो students traditional degree के बजाय कोई skill सीखकर जल्दी कमाना शुरू करना चाहते हैं उनके लिए Skill India Mission एक बेहतरीन option है। Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana यानी PMKVY के तहत free skill training दी जाती है जिसमें IT, construction, healthcare, retail, beauty, automotive और दर्जनों अन्य sectors शामिल हैं। Training पूरी होने पर government-recognized certificate मिलता है जो job market में valid है। इसके अलावा training के दौरान stipend भी मिलता है और placement assistance भी दी जाती है। skillindiadigital.gov.in पर अपने नजदीकी training centre और available courses देखे जा सकते हैं।
इन सभी Schemes का एक साथ कैसे फायदा उठाएं?
यह सभी schemes एक-दूसरे को exclude नहीं करतीं। एक student NSP पर scholarship लेते हुए साथ में PM Vidya Lakshmi से education loan भी ले सकता है। Skill India की training करते हुए NSP scholarship भी चल सकती है। सबसे पहला काम है अपना Aadhar Card bank account से link करवाना क्योंकि बिना इसके कोई भी scholarship का पैसा नहीं आता। इसके बाद NSP पर register करें, अपनी category के हिसाब से eligible scholarships देखें और deadline से पहले apply करें। School या college के scholarship nodal officer से regularly contact करते रहें क्योंकि वही application को institute level पर verify करते हैं और उनकी मदद के बिना process आगे नहीं बढ़ती।
