Anurag Dobhal Is “Fighting Hard For His Life” After Being Moved Out Of ICU, Says Manager

YouTuber and Bigg Boss 17 fame Anurag Dobhal, who had only recently shown signs of recovery following a serious road accident, suffered a sudden and alarming health deterioration while being transferred to Dehradun, forcing his team to rush him to the nearest hospital mid-journey.

Health Collapsed Mid-Transfer

His manager Rohit Panday shared a distressing update on Instagram Stories, accompanied by a video showing Anurag wearing an oxygen mask inside a moving ambulance. “After Anurag Bhai’s condition stabilised yesterday, he was discharged, and we were taking him to Dehradun. Unfortunately, during the transfer, his health deteriorated again. He started having breathing difficulties. We are now taking him to the nearest hospital for immediate medical attention. He is currently fighting hard for his life,” Rohit wrote. The update sent shockwaves through Anurag’s fanbase, many of whom had only just exhaled with relief upon hearing he had been discharged and moved out of intensive care.

Severe Pneumonia Compounds the Crisis

Just a day before the transfer attempt, Rohit had already flagged a worsening situation in a separate update, explaining that Anurag’s lungs had sustained partial damage in the original accident and subsequently developed a serious infection. “He has been diagnosed with severe pneumonia. He is currently under the supervision of doctors,” Rohit wrote at the time. The sequence of events — stable condition, ICU discharge, brief period of apparent recovery, and then sudden collapse during transfer — has raised serious concerns about the fragility of his recovery, with pneumonia following traumatic injury being a notoriously difficult complication to manage.

A Life Already Under Strain

The accident came at a deeply turbulent point in Anurag Dobhal’s personal life. Earlier this month, he had gone live on Instagram for an emotionally charged session in which he spoke openly about his troubled relationship with his family, accusing them of mental harassment and alleging that they were opposed to his inter-caste marriage. The session was followed by a two-hour-long vlog elaborating on the same grievances — and it was shortly after this that his car crash occurred, making the timeline especially difficult for his followers to process. His brother Kalam Ink has since publicly challenged Anurag’s allegations and called for an independent probe, while also revealing that family members have received death threats from supporters of the YouTuber, with people threatening to “burn them alive”.
